    Článek poukazuje na důležitost typografických prostředků při recepci psaných textů. Na příkladu záhlaví tří časopisů vydávaných v Polsku představiteli německé menšiny demonstruje, jak se význam psaného slova může měnit v závislosti na jeho okolí a jak může být účinek na čtenáře ovlivněn barvou, velikostí a typem písma, velikostí mezer a dalšími typografickými prostředky. The article points out the importance of typography in the reception of written texts. Using the example of the headers of three magazines published in Poland for the German-speaking minority, the author demonstrates how the meaning of the written word can change depending on its surroundings, and how the effect on the reader can be influenced by the colour, size and font of lettering, the size of gaps, and other typographic means.

    This article examines changes to street names in the city of Oppeln before the transformation to Polish names in 1945. The research is based on a corpus comprising a complete official register of streets and squares in Oppeln/Opole from the beginnings of the town's history to 2010. The author focuses on the changes in the use of language over the centuries, the form of the hodonyms (on the morphosyntactic level), and the motives for the changes in individual street names.

    Unter den in Polen herausgegebenen deutschen Minderheitenzeitschriften gibt es einige, die sich in erster Linie an Jugendliche richten und deren Texte hauptsächlich von Jugendlichen geschrieben werden, welche die deutsche Sprache nicht als Erst-, sondern als Zweitsprache neben dem Polnischen beherrschen. Dies kann als Grund für die in den Texten vorkommenden Fehler angesehen werden, aber gehen sie tatsächlich alle auf diese Ursache zurück oder lassen sich auch andere Gründe für die hier auftretenden Normwidrigkeiten erkennen? Sind es nur rein sprachliche Mängel, die das Lesen der Texte erschweren? Und wie sind die Letzteren im Kontext der Sprachnorm zu beurteilen? Dies sind die Fragen, auf die in dem Beitrag vor dem Hintergrund einer empirischen, induktiven und korpusbasierten Untersuchung anhand zahlreicher Belege aus der Zeitschrift Antidotum eine Antwort gesucht wird. Among the German minority magazines published in Poland, there are some that are aimed primarily at young people and their articles are mainly written by young people who speak German not as a first, but as a second language in addition to Po-lish. This can be viewed as a reason for mistakes occurring in the texts, but can they all actually be traced back to this cause or can there be recognized other reasons for these irregularities? Are these just purely linguistic shortcomings that make it difficult to read the articles? And how are the latter to be assessed in the context of the language standard? These are the questions to which answer is sought in the light of an empirical, inductive and corpus-based study, using numerous documents from the magazine Antidotum.
