    Franz Kafka'nın Dava'sının Melih Cevdet Anday'ın İsa'nın Güncesi adlı romanına etkisi açık olmakla birlikte, incelenen romanlar arasındaki ilişki, basit bir esinlenmenin ötesinde, eserlerin kaleme alındığı dönemlerdeki toplumsal ve hukuki sorunların özüne ilişkin benzerlikle dikkat çekmektedir. Romanların karşılaştırmalı analizi, modernitenin, toplumsal farklılıklar ve iki roman arasındaki altmış yıla rağmen, değişik kültürlerde hukuk felsefesine ilişkin benzer sorunlara yol açtığını göstermektedir. Ulus devletlerinin kurulması ve demokrasinin gelişmesiyle ortaya çıkan kriz kalıcı olmuş, dünya savaşları ve askeri darbeler arasında olağan hâle gelen olağanüstü hâl modern dönemin hukuki durumu hâline gelmiştir. Trotz des deutlichen Einflusses Franz Kafkas Der Proceß auf Melih Cevdet Andays Roman Das Tagebuch von Isa verrät die Art und Weise, wie die ungewöhnlichen Rechtsprozesse in den untersuchten Romanen behandelt werden, eine innige Verwandtschaft, die die gleiche Rechtsproblematik betrifft. Die komparatistische Analyse der beiden Romane zeigt, dass die Moderne, trotz der gesellschaftlichen Differenzen und des sechzig jährigen Abstands zwischen den Romanen, in verschiedenen Kulturen ähnliche rechtsphilosophische Probleme zur Folge hat. Die Krise, die durch die Gründung der Nationalstaaten und die Etablierung der Demokratie, auftaucht, wird dauerhaft, und der Ausnahmezustand, der zwischen Weltkriegen und Militärputschen Regel geworden ist, wird zum juristischen Zustand der Moderne.

    Georg Forster took part in Captain Cook's second journey of the world (1772) with his father at the age of 17. After his return, he published his impressions and observations in a comprehensive book. The book contains not only the observations on the nature of the places they visited, but also numerous philosophical notes on the culture of the people. A closer reading of these observations shows that Forster developed a method according to which he assessed the foreign cultures. The criteria of this method enables Forster even to understand and objectively assess cannibalism in New Zealand. Forster developed this method after questioning the conditions which can have a significant effect on the origin and the development of a particular culture in a particular space. His observations on the different cultures and the comparison of them with the Western culture which brought him to the conclusion that the geographical location, in which the human being lives, has a great effect on human existence. The aim of this paper is to show how Forster perceives the foreign culture and how he deals with it. Georg Forster henüz 17 yaşındayken babasıyla birlikte Kaptan Cook'un ikinci dünya seyahatine katılır ve dönüşünde gözlem ve deneyimlerini kapsamlı bir kitaba dönüştürerek yayınlar. Kitap gezilen yerlerin doğasına yönelik gözlemlerin yanı sıra oralarda yaşayan insanların kültürüne yönelik pek çok felsefi düşünce de içerir. Kitap dikkatli incelendiğinde yazarın yabancı kültürleri incelemede bir yöntem geliştirdiği ve onları bu yöntemin kriterlerine göre değerlendirdiği görülür. Kitabın içerisine adeta serpiştirilmiş olan bu kriterler Forster'in Yeni Zellanda'da hala var olan kanibalizme dahi anlayışlı bakmasına sebep olmaktadır. Forster yöntemini şu sorunun cevabından hareketle oluşturur: Hangi koşullar belli bir coğrafyada belli bir kültürün oluşmasına belirleyici bir etkide bulunabilir? Farklı kültürlere yönelik gözlemleri ve bunların Batı kültürüyle karşılaştırılması onu, insanın içerisinde yaşadığı coğrafi koşulların onun nasıl bir insan olacağını ve nasıl bir yaşam süreceğini önemli oranda belirlediğidir. Bu çalışmada Forster'in geliştirdiği yöntem aracılığıyla yabancı olanı algıladığı ve başa çıktığı ele alınacaktır.

    Das Buch gegen das Verschwinden ist Ulrike Almut Sandigs zweite Prosaveröffentlichung und kann mit dem Etikett lyrische Prosa versehen werden, da die Autorin bisher doch zumeist im lyrischen Bereich veröffentlicht hat. Klar und hart sind die Sätze, überlegt durchdacht die Szenen, ausgefeilt die Erzählstrukturen, die sich manchmal jedoch erst später strukturieren. Und doch findet Ulrike Almut Sandig einen Ton, der die Geschichte Die Blauen Augen Deiner Mutter in einer schwebenden Ambivalenz hält" (Schröder 2015). Sicher, man könnte all das rein realistisch lesen und daneben auch versuchen sich eine Meinung über den Gezi-Park zu bilden, als würde man eine rationale Erklärung für die Thematik finden. "Und doch sickert in die Grundfesten des Plausiblen immer wieder eine Form von Unheimlichkeit und Restunerfindlichkeit ein. Sandig torpediert Gewissheiten, die ihrer Figuren und die ihrer Leser" (ebd.). Ohne sich einem Erzählschema unterzuordnen, ist allen Texten in diesem Band eines gemeinsam: Etwas kommt abhanden, löst sich in Luft auf, verschwindet. Zurück bleiben Vereinsamte, die, wenn überhaupt, über das Erzählen xistieren. Ulrike Almut Sandig'in, Das Buch gegen das Verschwinden adlı kitabı, yazarın düz yazı türünde yayınlanan ikinci eseridir. Öncesinde Sandig çoğunlukla lirik türde yazdığından dolayı, bu eser de lirik düz yazı olarak adlandırılabilir. Açık ve keskin cümlelerle, okudukça şekillenen bir anlatım türü ve iyi düşünülmüş sahneler görülmektedir. Sandig'in bu hikayede (kısa hikaye değil) kullandığı üslup, okura olaylara çift anlam yükleyebilme olanağı tanıdığından dolayı, eser çokça kararsızlıklara yol açıyor (Schröder 2015). Konu bütünlüğüne mantıklı bir açıklama aranabilirken, hikaye gerçekçi bir bakış açısıyla okunabilir ve aynı zamanda Gezi Parkı hakkında şahsi fikirler edinilebilir. "Yinede net olan kesinlikler arasından biraz tuhaflık, biraz da belirsizlik sızmaktadır. Sandig böylece figürler hakkında, okurda oluşabilecek kesin kanaatleri önlemeye çalışmaktadır." Bu kitaptaki tüm metinler, belli bir anlatım şemasına tabii olmaksızın, bir ortak noktaya sahiptir; Bir şey yitiyor, ortadan kayboluyor, yok oluyor. Geriye sadece anlatılarda var olan yalnızlıklar kalıyor.

    O presente texto objetiva expor e divulgar ao mais amplo público leitor um panorama cronológico comentado dos estudos críticos publicados sobre a literatura produzida por imigrantes de língua alemã e seus descendentes no Brasil, mostrando que e por que se tratam de uma crítica parcial, o que evidencia a necessidade de atrair a atenção para este campo de pesquisa, partindo dos novos horizontes abertos pelos estudos culturais, pela imagologia, pelos estudos da memória, além da crítica poética. Parte-se das palavras encorajadoras de Boris Fausto em Fazer a América (1999) e de Wander de Melo Miranda em Nações literárias (2010), pois a literatura de língua alemã gerada no país pertence à cultura brasileira, é uma das nações literárias encastoadas no Brasil. This text aims to divulge a chronological and commented panorama of the critical studies published about the literature produced by German-speaking immigrants and their descendants in Brazil, arguing that this is a partial critique. This text also aims to emphasize the need to draw attention to this field of research. Nowadays, in addition to the poetic approach, other critical perspectives, such as cultural studies, imagology and memory studies, open new horizons. The encouraging words of Boris Fausto in Fazer a América (1999) must be taken into consideration as well as the support positions of Wander de Melo Miranda in Nações literárias (2010). According to Melo Miranda for example we could say that the literary production in German in Brazil belongs to the Brazilian culture and is a literary nation within this country

    Através da ideia de quimera, esse ensaio tentará compreender a constituição aberta do personagem Odradek, da narrativa curta "A preocupação do pai de família" de Franz Kafka. O interestante nessa construção literária seria o deslocamento (inclusive das possibilidades de expressão de gênero nas línguas) que Odradek impõe ao esforço constante do narrador (representante de grupos sociais específicos) em categorizá-lo e, por consequência, do leitor, que tentaria encerrá-lo num tipo fechado de interpretação. Odradek parece um tipo de ser incapturável pelas principais categorias, sejam elas literárias, biológicas ou sociais, que ajudaram a fundar a ideia de Modernidade. Through the use of the idea of chimera, this essay will attempt to understand the open constitution of the character Odradek, from the short story "The cares of a family man" by Franz Kafka. What is interesting in this short story is the displacement (which includes the possibilities of gender expression in languages) Odradek imposes on the narrator's constant effort (representing specific social groups) to categorize him/it and consequently the reader's effort to enclose him/it in a closed interpretation. Odradek seems to be impossible to apprehend using main literary, biological or social categories which helped found of the idea of Modernity
