Le fils à être l'égal de son père et à n'avoir ni respect ni crainte pour ses parents, parce qu'il veut être libre ?" Non, ce n'est pas un écrivain moderne qui écrit cette phrase, c'est Platon. Les enfants grecs n'étaient peut-être pas si loin des nôtres... Pourtant, on relèvera sans doute ici des différences surprenantes. Un auteur de l'époque révèle d'étranges pratiques alimentaires du nourrisson : "Comme les nourrices, en mâchant sa nourriture, tu lui en mets un peu dans la bouche, mais toi-même tu en as déjà avalé le triple." Que faudra-t-il enseigner à cet enfant ?
