    The main theme in the three scenes and one stage theatre play called "Lawyers" which was written by Rolf Hochhuth in 1980 is "death". The date in the play goes back to May 1978 when the body of the Italian Prime Minister Aldo Moro was found. In the play, the minister Heilmeyer is a lawyer like his daughter Tina and his prospective son-in-law Dieter. However, Heilmeyer worked as a judge at the times of Hitler's Germany. It is seen that lawyers from two different generations encounter topics like death, death sentence, suicide, right to kill and survive. Hochhuth not only questions his own society with a critical attitude and but also he keeps on becoming the conscience of the society with the chronological narrative and the play in which the ideas are associated. The play is analyzed in the light of the perspectives of social reality and readers.

    Das lebensbegleitende Lernen – sei es institutionell oder nicht institutionell – dient offen oder verdeckt einer bestimmten Absicht. Von der vorbestimmten Absicht aus betrachtet wird jedes Gelernte einer Prüfung unterzogen. Im Rahmen dieses Referats wird eine literarische Prüfung eines DaF-Seminars mit Vorbedingungen und Nachwirkungen diskutiert. In wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten beschäftigt man sich überwiegend mit der Rolle der Lehrenden, der Lernenden und mit der Unterrichtsgestaltung. All diese Themen sind für den Unterricht, speziell für den Fremdsprachenunterricht, unumstritten. Ebenso von Bedeutung sollte die Bewertung der vermittelten bzw. angeeigneten Fremdsprachenkenntnisse sein. Das Referat wird das Prüfungsverfahren eines fremdsprachlichen Literaturseminars kritisch darstellen. Wichtiges Kriterium bei der Bewertung der Prüfungsergebnisse ist die Reflexion von produktiven Verfahren. Ausgehend vom 'produktiven Verfahren', werden Multiple Choice und offene Fragen – sei es Abfragen von gelernten Inhalten oder allgemeinen Kenntnissen in individuellen Aussagen – kontrastiv diskutiert. Das bevorzugte Prüfungsverfahren wird nach den Gütekriterien Validität, Reliabilität und Objektivität überprüft. Learning that accompanies to life serves a certain purpose directly or indirectly whether the purpose is an institutional or a non-institutional one. When these purposes are taken into consideration, everything that is learnt is subject to a certain test. Thus, the exam of a German literature course, what expectations it serves, the exam style and its results will be explored in this study. In scientific studies, generally teacher and student roles as well as teaching methods of the course are focused on. All the articles about these topics contribute to the courses, especially to the foreign language courses. Yet, the exam style of the course should also have the same importance. This study critically analyzes three exam questions taken from the exam of the course entitled Analysis and Teaching of Short Literary Texts. While evaluating an exam paper, the most important point is to see the results of the productive method. The answers to openended questions are compared to those of the multiple-choice questions while the advantages and disadvantages are being argued. The chosen question technique is also dealt with in terms of its applicability-reliability.
