    O presente trabalho discute diferentes estratégias de retextualização no processo de tradução de um texto acadêmico, especialmente no caso de transposição de um gênero mais próximo à oralidade a outro, mais próximo da escrituralidade. A edição crítica em português que incorpora estas estratégias de retextualização é desenvolvida tomando como base não só a primeira edição do manual didático-científico Textlinguistik de Eugenio Coseriu, fixada em alemão por Albrecht a partir de gravações em áudio de aulas ministradas por Coseriu em 1977/78, como também as edições em italiano e espanhol. Neste trabalho, diferentes estratégias de verbalização que permitem o deslocamento do texto em direção à escrituralidade são ilustradas e fundamentadas teoricamente, segundo os pressupostos teóricos do modelo de Tradições Discursivas, de base coseriana, que entende a língua como um diassistema de textos e variedades linguísticas localizadas no contínuo de oralidade e escrituralidade. This paper discusses different retextualization strategies during the process of translation, specially in the case of the transposition of a more orally influenced text genre into another one, with more affinity with literacy. The critical edition in Portuguese that incorporates these strategies of retextualization is developed taking into account not only the first edition of the handbook Textlinguistik, by Eugenio Coseriu, published in German by Albrecht from recorded classes given by Coseriu in the winter semester of 1977/78, but also the editions in Italian and in Spanish. In this study, different strategies of verbalization that allow the text displacement in the direction of literacy are illustrated and theoretically grounded, following the theoretical and methodological assumptions of the Discourse Tradition Model (of Coserian origin), which understands the language as a diasystem of texts and language varieties located in the continuum of orality and literacy.

This paper gives an overview of recent studies related to negation in Modern German.     An important role in the coherence of texts is played by the distribution of information in the sentence. The present paper especially examines the beginning of sentences (topics). Which syntactic elements are most adequate to initiate a sentence, and which of their characteristics can be considered responsible for this? After a short review of the pertinent literature, we shall present grammatical, semantic and pragmatic factors that organize topicalization. The point of departure are the patterns of basic serialization as defined by the grammar. Deviations of these patterns can particularly be a result of the principle of known information. In addition to this constitutive principle, we can distinguish five regulative principles that lead to non-marked topicalizations (situation, empathy, iconicity, lengthening terms, text connection). In the closing sections, the positioning of phrasal accents and some special types of topics will be discussed. All the examples given are from modem German. Eine zentrale Rolle für die Kohärenz von Texten spielt die Verteilung der Informationen im Satz. In der vorliegenden Arbeit werden vor allem Satzanfänge (Topiks) betrachtet. Welche Elemente (Satzglieder) sind geeignete Anfangselemente, und auf welche Eigenschaften ist dies zurückzuführen? Nach einem Überblick über die einschlägige Literatur werden grammatische, semantische und pragmatische Faktoren vorgestellt, die die Topikalisierung regeln. Den Ausgangspunkt bildet die grammatisch definierte Grundserialisierung. Abweichungen von ihr können sich vor allem aufgrund des Bekanntheitsprinzips ergeben. Neben diesem konstitutiven Prinzip werden fünf weitere, regulative Prinzipien benannt, die zu einer unmarkierten Topikalisierung führen (Situierung, Empathie. Ikonizität, wachsende Glieder, Textkonnektion). In den Schlußkapiteln werden die Plazierung des Satzakzentes und einige besondere Typen von Topiks behandelt. Alle verwendeten Beispiele stammen aus der deutschen Gegenwartssprache.

    This paper examines four German transportation verbs with the prefix weg-, concentrating on their syntax and their semantic and pragmatic interpretations. The empirical data investigated are from across-linguistic Corpus of German and Brazilian Portuguese as foreign languages. The analysis is based on the concept of focus, which is defined as a point on the path along which the patient of the process moves. The focus must be either mentioned or contextually evident. Each transportation verb will be able to establish a typical focus. German prefix-verbs with weg- are characterized by a focus-conflict that can be resolved through different interpretation strategies. Der vorliegende Aufsatz untersucht vier deutsche Transportverben mit dem Präfix weg- hinsichtlich ihrer Syntax sowie ihrer semantischen und pragmatischen Interpretationen. Die analysierten empirischen Daten stammen aus einem kontrastiven Korpus des Deutschen und des brasilianischen Portugiesisch als Fremdsprachen. Die Analyse gründet sich auf das Konzept des Fokus, der definiert wird als ein Punkt auf dem vom Patiens des Prozesses durchlaufenen Weg. Der Fokus muß entweder erwähnt werden oder kontextuell evident sein. Jedes Transportverb besitzt die Fähigkeit, einen typischen Fokus zu etablieren. Deutsche Präfixverben mit weg- sind durch einen Fokuskonflikt gekennzeichnet, der durch verschiedene Interpretationsstrategien aufgelöst werden kann.
