    Kolophon: This book, Pense-Bête, was written by Marcel Broodthaers between 1962-63 and printed in January 1964. Soon after, Broodthaers collaged some of the text with a variety of colored paper. - That spring, he planted the last packaged set (50 copies) of Pense-Bête into plaster, effectuating one of the most pivotal works of his career as a visual artist. - Published as a replica in 2016 by Granary Books in New York City as an edition f 100 numbered copies, modeled on several examples of the collage version with the assistance of Diane Bertolo. Translated into English by Elizabeth Zuba

    Elizabeth Zuba translated the poems into English in collaboration with Maria Gilissen Broodthaers; the edition was produced by Steve Clay and Diane Bertolo, printed by Philip Gallo at The Hermetic Press and bound by Judith Ivry (Quelle: Homepage Granary)
